Raccoon City Being Remade in Left 4 Dead

Take arguably one of the biggest zombie franchises around, combine it with the best co-op zombie franchise around, and what do you get? Raccoon City, from Resident Evil 3, being remade in Left 4 Dead. How awesome is that? It's currently a work in progress, but hey, it's a start.

Wow, I was expecting this to be just the inside of the station, but it looks like they're doing the whole map based on the RE3 version. Nice. Hopefully the inside of the station will be just as good as I remember it being.

You know watching this I realize that I want a RE MMO so bad, yeah there are a lot of problems that would have to be overcome, but damn a persistent Zombie world would be awesome.

Oh that's pretty cool. I'm gonna cross my fingers to let Capcom not be dicks about this and let it be finished.

There's the Resident Evil: Twilight HL2 mod I've been keeping an eye on, but the team seems to have slowed down on updates.

This might be a treat if left to develop.

Hmm I guess I should have posted this a long time ago as I knew this was being made back before they even turned out the kit. They scrapped everything they had and restarted it with the kit. They have all the information at left4deadmods.
