Ferry Halim Adds New Orisinal Game!

Games can be anatomically simple and yet artistically riveting, and Ferry Halim is one gamemaker that proves the rule.

Orisinal : Morning Sunshine is a collection of charming webgames with delightful music and fantastically simple to grasp gameplay that grabs you! Play the new game "BUGs" right now!

DM be damned! Let there be no MDK today I say!

I've wanted to do an Orisinal post for a looooong while now. Finally here's the occasion.

I'm sorry these are free games posted on a website that show artis... clever design and are interactive. Please do not use the word "artistic" when saying gamemaker, as you may confuse people into think that art, games, online and free are possible.

The first one of these I played was The Way Home. Kept playing it until I got a perfect score. Damn fine games there.

Addendum: Nintendo should hire this guy. If he and Miyamoto worked together it would wreak havoc on my wallet.

I guess in that case I'm glad he's making free games for the time being

What I do know; is that the top right game (floats) definitely hurt my finals's grades last semester.

Ive had this website in my bookmarks for years and he makes some of the coolest game designs ever. He would be a killer professional game developer.

One of the best game sites on the net. Not to mention his soothing art and music style

He knows how to pick his music, for sure.

If you like to support his efforts, buy something from his online store. His art makes those stock white shirts and clocks look good.

The games should be free as the more people they reach the better.

Has my ability to comprehend been somehow hindered today? Much of this post left me scratching my head and rereading. Who's Ferry Halim? What's an Orisinal? DM? MDK? And somehow, I just don't think "anatomically simple" can be applied to a game. -- Maybe I just need more caffeine.

At any rate, pretty games. I do think they'd have to be a bit more challenging to really grab my attention though.

I found Orsinal a year or two ago and was impressed by the simplicity and beauty of these games. Take that Ebert! Games can be Art!

It's too damn cute. In fact, I can't even not like it because of said cuteness, it only makes it more appealing!

i actually checked this out for the first time today. i think that this stuff is great. incredibly addictive as well. also, there is a program on the site that allows you to assemble an arrangement of flowers and email them to anyone that you would like. very artistic design for the site and the music is outstanding as well.
