It looks like stupid fun, but instead its pretty much terrible.

You're right, I just tried it and shut it off after about a minute. I didn't like that every time I shot I had to wait a second before I could shoot again and that the zombies took more than 2 shots to kill.

While I'll admit there is no fun like stupid fun this game is heavy om stupid and light on fun. Now I'm pretty much the biggest Zombie whore on the planet and even I can't get into this.

I'm one of the developers of this game - we love zombies, love zombie games and love unity, so we're trying to put something cool together. We definately appreciate all feedback - and we know it is pretty rough around the edges right now - we really mean it when we say open beta.
If anyone has any constructive feedback please post it here - we are fixing things by the day, so even if you had a bad first impression please don't write the game off - just post some comments and we'll try to get to them to make it better.
We have a lot of ideas for additional content, and even some content already made, so we'll be updating the game every couple of weeks with new tilesets, tweaks, bug fixes etc., and hopefully get to more exciting stuff like leaderboards, persistent characters, weapons etc.

Sure:
Faster firing would fix a lot of it. I want to be able to empty my clip as fast as I can click my mouse, even if reload then takes longer.
More of an arc on melee than what is currently present.
a slightly brighter gamma. (This may just be my monitor)

Hey there Matt, nice of you to stick your head out and say hello. I'm sure our folks can provide some good feedback for you.

Thanks - great feedback. I agree with faster firing - we're looking into that right now. I'm not sure how we'll tweak reload time - I don't think it is too far off right now - we are adding in a reload anim as well, though it can still be interrupted by melee attacks (you will continue to reload).
More of an arc on melee - the melee attack actually does hit a 180 degree arc in front of you, but the anim doesnt really reflect this - we're fixing the anim so that it looks like a big sweep in front of him. Also, we're adding some knockback to the melee so that you can clear out a crowd in front of you.
I also agree with the gamma - it is tough to tell as we're all working on rather bright LCDs here - also, each tileset has slightly different lighting (although I know only the City Streets are currently playable). We'll take a look at this as well.
