Looking for the new hotness in PlayStation Portables? Then you want the new PSP-3000. It comes with a brand new screen that offers higher contrast with deeper colors as well as a built in mic. Want to know exactly what that looks like? Hit up Famitsu Online for the comparison shots.
Oh yeah, saw this last night. Looks so very, very nice. It also looks like I'll be picking this up sometime later this year - I haven't upgraded to a Slim yet, and now it is just too good to refuse.
Looks nice. I can't justify any more electronics but it looks good anyway.

Looks great, but I'm still good with my nearly 3 year old 1000 series PSP. It's good to know that if I ever need to replace my old one that there are some new things to look forward to.

I don't know how color accurate those screenshots are.
You have the source photo or photos
You have the camera used to capture, the camera angle, the camera settings and color manipulation
you have the color profile of the image file
and then you have the color profile of the viewing monitor
Maybe the psp-3000 has a great screen- that would be fantastic.
But this screen comparison is as valuabe as the commercial that advertises a great screen that looks great on your old tv.
"More detail, the logo has changed the position he was in the main circle back of the pattern that is smaller, and others. It seems less significant improvements, but when you get to the "conventional than it is over here!" I believe that can happen is that specifications, or think."
The comparison is useless since they put a strong light directly behind the camera to causes reflections. All it shows is that the new screen is less reflective, but since no-one sits playing PSP with a thousand watt bulb directly behind their head that's irrelevant.
Well, if you guys need official stats, here they are again:
Quote:
The official stats? Color gamut is twice as wide. The contrast ratio is improved 5 times. The response time has doubled. For gamers that have complained about the PSP-1000 and 2000's slow response time (which creates a ghosting effect in certain games), this is certainly good news.
The PSP has a ghosting problem whether you notice it or not. The difference from the 1000 to 2000 was so amazing that I don't doubt the same will happen here.
