From the developers that brought us Alien Hominid comes news that Castle Crashers is finally complete!

Lots of little treasures and secrets hiding around the levels, many unlockable characters all with a different feel, and lastly, no real weak spots in the game that I can foresee haunting me for the rest of my life.
Yay, it is finally finished! Now we can all... wait longer?

Man, this is going to be the first XBLA title I pick up when I get my 360. It sounds so awesome.

I'm happy that they are finally done with the game, but they still have to do through cert. Still, that will only take a couple months.

Good damn it, I was just whining about when this game comes out. And my wish has been granted!!!

I will buy this on day one, no questions asked. The Behemoth is an incredible developer, and Alien Hominid is one of my favorite games.

There's no doubt in my mind this game will be one of the best XBLA games available.

I did not like Alien Homnid, something about the controls felt laggy to me.

I am still heavily anticapting the 4 player awesomeness of Castle Crashers.

I'll take what I can get in terms of co-op 2D gameplay. But I'm really tired of this flash bullshit. It looks and animates like ass, even if the designers have a somewhat interesting artstyle. When can we get some real handdrawn 2D animation again? What happened to all those dudes who did that work in the 90's? Surely someone could cobble together some out of work 2D artists or some good portable developers (who do a lot of 2d nowdays) and put together a decent looking XBLA game.

Wow, I didn't think this was ever going to come out. Glad to see that it's finally done. Now as Variable Gear said, there's only two to three months of MS Certification left.

I almost wish I didn't know it was complete. Now I'm going to be checking in with them everyday to see if it's going to be released soon.

How can a flash game take like 3 years to develop? Honestly, it seems like this game has been "almost finished" since December '06

Yay, so glad it's finished. I've been anxiously anticipating it since I got to play it at Pax '06.

Word is they went back and did a bunch of redesign after the size limit was bumped up.

Because it's not a flash game?

Man and here I was thinking the other day "There hasn't been any good XBLA titles released lately".
Alien Hominid was just such a killer game...it was fun, zany, over-the-top violent ( biting off secret agent's heads!) and had this...charm...that I haven't seen since Zombies Ate My Neighbors. Castle Crashers looks to carry on the same charm (albeit in a slightly different way).
