I feel really great about how the final product has come out after playing through a few times last night. I’m very proud of what our team was able to accomplish. This game is undoubtedly the largest 360 XBLA game that has any kind of story; Large in scope, takes hours and hours to go through with your buddies. Lots of little treasures and secrets hiding around the levels, many unlockable characters all with a different feel, and lastly, no real weak spots in the game that I can foresee haunting me for the rest of my life.
Yay, it is finally finished! Now we can all... wait longer?
I'll take what I can get in terms of co-op 2D gameplay. But I'm really tired of this flash bullshit. It looks and animates like ass, even if the designers have a somewhat interesting artstyle. When can we get some real handdrawn 2D animation again? What happened to all those dudes who did that work in the 90's? Surely someone could cobble together some out of work 2D artists or some good portable developers (who do a lot of 2d nowdays) and put together a decent looking XBLA game.

Wow, I didn't think this was ever going to come out. Glad to see that it's finally done. Now as Variable Gear said, there's only two to three months of MS Certification left.
How can a flash game take like 3 years to develop? Honestly, it seems like this game has been "almost finished" since December '06

Man and here I was thinking the other day "There hasn't been any good XBLA titles released lately".
Alien Hominid was just such a killer game...it was fun, zany, over-the-top violent ( biting off secret agent's heads!) and had this...charm...that I haven't seen since Zombies Ate My Neighbors. Castle Crashers looks to carry on the same charm (albeit in a slightly different way).
