Lets face it. The first thing you noticed about the Playstation 2 (and upcoming Wii) game Okami was the incredible artistic style. It instantly drew you in to learn more about this game.
Now it seems Capcom is going to grow this further by launching OkamiArt.com. The site not only has a plethora of official wallpapers in every size imaginable, it also houses a section for fan art and other official concept drawings.
Now the only problem is...choosing which wallpaper to use.
When does the Wii version of this ship? I've never bought a console for one game before, but there's a first time for everything
Hell.. Sony would have sold me a PS3 by now if they hadn't made it damn near impossible to find one with real BC support. I'd much rather own one of those, truth be told.
Why wasn't this Okami art around for the original release on PS2? Where was the love?
Not bitchin' just saying... Udon book is money, can't wait to get it.

I was going to import that artbook, glad I waited... now I can get it in Engrish. Yay.

I know some of them were around for the PS2 release. If not on the North American site, then for sure on the Japanese site. Maybe even some that aren't on this new site for the Wii game. I remember using this one as my wallpaper for quite a while. (I think I had an actual 1600x1200 version, but they're only offering up to 1280x1024 for that one now.)
I'll have to check my saved Okami wallpapers tonight.
Wait for the flash to load, then click the orange-ish box in the southeast quadrant of the menu buttons (it has a little wallpaper icon on it). Has the original wallpapers for download in 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x960, and 1600x1200.
I know I had a few more pics - they may have not been full wallpaper size.
I just submitted some fan art to their website. I'll be the guy from Hollidaysburg if it is chosen. I figured, hell, why not? The game is awesome, and the style was incredible.
Wow, that's awesome! Thanks for posting this! I can't decide which wallpaper I'm taking yet.
And, oh, it looks like they've released an American version of the official art book. I actually have the Japanese version. My boyfriend gave it to me as a part of a Christmas present.
