There's been a lot of coming and going of staff members on our site in the 5 years I've been here. In fact, part of the reason I'm here is because of that ebb and flow. And while many have come and gone, it was a sad day when Philip 'Kefkataran' Kollar had to leave Evil Avatar Radio and take a step back from the site to pursue his career in games journalism.
After spending a year in the trenches at 1UP, Philip announced tonight on Evil Avatar Radio (the show he helped create), that as of tomorrow he will be the News Editor for 1UP.com taking the place of recently departed Patrick Klepek.
Congrats Phil! You've worked hard and you deserve it.

Congrats Phil! I bet it's been a long, weird ride to this point - but I hope you enjoy the News Editor gig. How different is this from what you've done in the past for 1UP? Is the difference simply in quantity of news stories you are expected to produce per day or do your responsibilities increase as well? If I don't get a response this will look really weird, so...uh...
