Meh so does this mean Epi 1-3 didn't actually happen? Way to go Valve, take 5 more years to do it and please by all means actually invest in some AI programming this time rather then blowing the whole budget on facial features/lipsyncing and a gravity gun.

Haha. Well it did take them 5 years to make HL2. I'd imagine if they did make a full length game it would take just as long if not longer. It will be hard to top HL2.

It may interest people to know that, barring cancellation, Episode Four has been in production almost since the whole episode thing started.

This is the exciting thing to think of. It's hard to imagine they'd stay with the source engine after Episode 3.

File this one under "Non-Revelatory". We all knew this was coming eventually. Not creating a true sequel to Half Life 2 would be like ending the Madden series because EA would like to "move on to an original IP".
