In today's Toys 'R Us circular ad, the in-store purchase of Super Mario Galaxy at $49.99 will garner you a $25 Toys 'R Us gift card. The ad states that the offer is valid from 11/11/07 - 11/17/07.
My TRU is going out of business at some nebulous point in the future, and seems like they get about 1 in every 10 new releases. I'm assuming SMG will be a big enough release for them to get it though. Of course, I wish they had it tomorrow which I think is the offiicial release date, instead of Tuesday, when I'm working.
sounds like a ploy just to get you in the door one more time. You're still paying $50 for SMG, you'll just have to find something else for $25 worth getting...
Plenty of PS2 GH titles for $20, shouldn't be too hard...
Closest TRU to me is 40 minutes away. Not worth the gas used to get it there.

You preorder it for 5 bucks m8 , and then tuesday you go back and pay 44 more and get the game , coin and 25 dollar gift card. Oh and the woman at the desk told me you also get a wii glove..dunno what that is or if she is right or not.

There are several good titles for the Wii out this month. I planned on waiting until Christmas for Mario Galaxy, but with that gift card I can get Ghost Squad for only $5 plus tax. Sweetness.

I was going to get Galaxy and then pick up Zack and Wiki for $15. RE4 is only $30, so if someone hasn't picked it up yet that makes it $5.
Just so everyone knows, TRU is doing a Buy 2, Get 1 Free promotion for the Wii, to commemorate its first anniversary.
So, while most such TRU promotions work across all platforms, this one will be for Wii games only. It begins the week of the 18th, so Mario Galaxy does not qualify. If you do buy SMG this week, though, you can use your $25 gift card and essentially get 3 full-priced games for $75.
