Two Worlds (PC/Xbox360) Patch Incoming!

No, there probably aren't very many people who've stuck with the game this long, but those who have should be pleased, and those who stayed clear may want to give it a look.

We have already a list of all fixes. There are also some new features that will be announced later.

Thanks for all betatesters for their valueable feedback.

Quite a laundry list of fixes. I've really enjoy the game in spite of its flaws. This is awesome news for those of us who stuck with it. Maybe i'll actually play multiplayer now!

I saw this earlier today. I think there's also a demo coming for the 360 as well. I'd love to give the game a shot.

So, I saw this game is actually on Steam now. Will this patch make it worth the purchase? Anyone with any experience with the game?

/agree

This game had a great premise, but to say the execution was poor is an understatement.

I know that this game has a lot of problems, but I totally got sucked into it. I think the appeal for me whas that it wasn't from one of the big, arrogant, first partiy houses out there. It seems like a title from a little shop, with big ambitions, with just not enough resources to make it happen.

When the holiday game glut dies down I recommend any RPG fans to give Two Worlds a try. Just set your expatations to zero before you start.

I'm still neck deep in the single player - can't get away at all. Just turned it off in fact.

The demo did hit Xboxlive today as well.

That's a matter of opinion Bapenguin. The game has sold pretty well, we have many here on the site who like the game. I haven't played the 360 version but I can state with certainty that I do like Two Worlds on the PC. It's a pretty fun game overall.

It has some issues yes, but unlike Oblivion, I found myself playing Two Worlds more then 5 minutes after I started the game. Oblivion bored me to tears as soon as I escaped the jail. I haven't even gotten beyond that part in Oblivion.

Two Worlds, I'm all over the damned place. I would rate the game as a 7-7.5 out of 10.

Not an incredible game, but still lots of fun.

That's my approach. Maybe in Summer, when it is way too hot to go outside, I'll curl up in the AC of my living room and try it out via rental.

Eh, I'll wait until it gets really cheap on Steam.

The story in this game is about as cliche as they come. This title is worth picking up for around a budget price, anything more is criminal. It's the incredibly boring and ugly version of Oblivion.

Not really cheap yet, but it is down to $31.95. Just an FYI to anyone interested.

I have defended this game multiple times here so I am going to be brief. Despite its many flaws, Two Worlds still provided me with many hours of good times and a pretty decent sandbox RPG world to get lost in.

I enjoyed this game. It is very flawed but still was a lot of fun. The leveling system kicks the crap out of Oblivion. I prefer RPG's where you actually feel more powerful as time goes on. Laying waste to creatures that used to kick your ass is always fun. My biggest complaint honestly was that it seemed like ALL creatures attacked in packs.

Is this the patch that makes it as fun as Oblivion?

A friend was going to get this or was interested, but then decided to avoid after seeing the reviews. Not sure if this addresses all the problems or not.
