The new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game uses the same dark and dangerous environments and adventurous themes featured in the new NT CGI film being developed by Imagi Animation Studios and Mirage Licensing. The NT movie takes place in a New York City plagued by secretive villains and strange, otherworldly creatures. Faced with these perils, the Turtles will experience their most trying time as heroes and as a family, as Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo lose their focus and struggle to maintain their unity and ninja discipline.
Ubisoft has a massive uphill battle here. 1) this game is based on a movie license, so that automatically knocks its gamerank down about 10%. 2) Konami has created nothing but shit since Turtles in Time for the SNES, and now Ubisoft has to overcome that preconceived notion. 3) Ubisoft really shit on Wii owners promising a mountain of support and then giving us hacked together ports and crappy experiments in design.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, is being developed by Ubisoft Montreal and Quebec City studios for the Xbox 360, the PS2, the PSP, PC, GBA, NDS, GameCube and Wii
This makes me chuckle.

Battered women: Even though it sounds delicious, it is still a bad idea.
What we really need is a sandbox TMNT game. Start off using the sewers to travel from place to place because if even the regular populace see you, they attack/run away and get the cops. You start off fighting petty crime, thieves, muggers etc... and as you do you build your reputation, expand your networks and notoriety so you can find out about the big bosses and have more bad guys coming after you.
Either that or just a re-skin of the original arcade machine.
