Survey Says...Metal Gear Solid on Xbox 360?

So my wife just completed a survey and some of the questions were as follows:

"Would you like to see Metal Gear Solid 4 on Xbox 360?"

"Would you buy an Xbox 360 just to play Metal Gear Solid 4?"

"On a scale of 0-100, with zero being not at all satisfied and 100 being very satisfied, how would you rate Konami's output on Xbox 360 to date?"

The survey comes from a fairly popular marketing and research firm.

Make of it what you will, but it's an interesting development.

It was an email survey invitation she got sent. I can no longer fill them out as I'm part of "the industry", but my wife enjoys playing games and has fun filling them out so I still get to see what's going on.

I see Fits isn't around, so I'll answer for him. It was a survey done by a pretty reputable marketing group, the group in fact has Microsoft as one of it's major clients.

It's quite a popular firm in the political realm as well, compiling exit polls from national and international elections.

Y'know, I think I would buy a 360 to get MGS4, I keep wanting to as is, but don't want to make the ~$500 investment it would take to get it, a game, and a controller.

I find it hard to imagine that Konami isn't at least considering better support for 360 in some form or another. I know that it's hardly the most popular toy in japan but things are improving and it's not even the most important territory.

MGS4 for 360!

I don't know how many will agree with me on this, but I can see this adding to the suckage factor for the PS3. If MGS4 becomes a multi-console release, with comparable graphics etc..., who in all honesty is gonna shell out the money for a PS3 (assuming of course that people are buying the PS3 for MGS4. It'd be a selling factor for me).

couldve been a Microsoft survey to show Konami they are being asses... its kind of crazy though, what if a bunch of fan boys got hold of it and answered all in Sony's favor?

I get surveys like this from NPDOR all the time. I always fill them out, because I actually won a $100 Amazon gift certificate from them. Bought me my first three DS games. =)

I wouldn't doubt if it came to the 360', though i'm wondering why they used a survey...It's pretty damn obvious that 360' gamers would love to play MGS, at least if they troll forums and news sites like I do...Either way, I think it's in Konami's best interest to do this, they'll lose so much money being on one console that didn't sell so well...
