We've already stated that we are working on releasing an update soon but we don't know the exact date of the release yet because it has not passed certification yet.
I wish the fan sites and online media would check with me first before they post stuff like this. Pretty much all of them have at least my email address (if not my phone number) and I check mail many, many times throughout the day.
At least that made my reputation of Epic go that much higher, that they are actually willing to give person-to-person feedback.
God forbid someone actually stopped to ask the people who made the game about what they plan to do with the game.
Oh... First and such.
Agreed. I know I have made this comparison before, but; The lack of half this much communication and support is why I will never buy another game by From.
I guess no one on the EA staff is a trained journalist.

...and Mark Rein hates us.
Really, I think Evil trolled him about a year ago on a thread here. So, I am not sure if calling him up is a great idea "hey Mark, this is Phil, yeah EvilAvatar... I was really mean to you, but anyways... you got some gears love happening on the 24th? Whats that? Go fuck myself? ...I'd prefer not to.. but I will post that as the story, thanks."
At least, that was the impression I got, it was about the reselling of PC games and support of those.
This really makes me wonder what that website is about then. I wonder who put it up if it was not epic. I tried to go back to the site, but it is no longer up. How mysterious.
We really should just stop reading Team X-Box and Planet (insert) as real sources of news, anyway.
Team X-Box? It's not like it was a rumor from taken from Joystiq and posted as news. Although I don't believe it was on gamespot or IGN. But, they tend to be so slow on news that a clarification was bound to come out before they got around to posting it in the first place. I don't think it used to be that way.
I've EMailed Mark before, and he's EMailed me too. I have no problem with doing what he said. That kind of attitude is so rare in this industry though that I think most gaming sites wouldn't think to do that. Most people simply don't return emails unless you go through the "proper channels" and at times, that takes days.

I concur with Sir Bappy here. Mark Rein's attitude is absolutely the exception, not the norm.
