Very nice looking game, the horseback riding in Afghanistan reminded me of RDR. I read that Kiefer Sutherland's addition as Snake's new voice actor is part of Konami's "reimagining" of the series, and I hope that means they're going to downplay some of the Japanese weirdness.

I always thought the japanese weirdness was one of its endearing qualities. As long as the cutscenes are a digestible length I will be happy. I know they gave more control over them with 4, but they were upwards of 30 minutes which is insane.

Game looks great though. Will definitely pick this up. I love all of them.

RDR was a great game (my game of the year in 2010), and the horseback riding was good, but the controls in that game were awkward otherwise, like trying to steer a drunk elephant. Grrrr.

Never been a MGS fan, but this one looks interesting to me.
