Well this came out of nowhere...Square Enix has released a bunch of screenshots and concept art of Thief 4 (which is apparently now just titled Thief). Click the headline to see them all. Game Informer has some extra info:

Series hero Garrett returns to the Gothic, industrial metropolis known simply as the City to steal any and everything that will make him richer. Unfortunately, the City is broiling with social tension as it is ravaged by a plague and lorded over by a political tyrant known as the Baron. In order to survive his adventures, Garrett will have to pay attention to his environment and make use of the may possible paths through each of the game's levels.
Square Enix plans to release Thief for PS4 and PC sometime in 2014, but the game is also planned for other next-gen consoles. Check out our coverage trailer for a taste of all the content you can look forward to absorbing over the next month.
Despite being a cynical and jaded gamer I'm strangely confident that this will be great, but if their had only been first-person screens I would have guessed the announcement of Dishonored 2.

What gives off a big Dishonored vibe to me are the guard uniforms and the party-goer costumes. They should've kept it looking more medieval like in the previous Thief games.
Judging by the quality of these guys' treatment of the Deus Ex franchise, this will be a treat.
I'm willing to bet this will be an even better game than Human Revolution because IMO Deus Ex is much harder to get right than a Thief game. It's also their second project so it's even more promising.
