InXile's latest Wasteland 2 update deals with some of the concerns people had with the recent gameplay video. They discuss the camera system and HUD, and also the biggest point of contention - the keyword dialogue system that many people felt was soulless and restrictive.
InXile is addressing those concerns based on feedback they've received from the community, including adding full sentence previews for every keyword in order to give players a better idea of their conversation choices. They also go into detail about how keywords and skills can affect the outcome of conversations and quests, giving a lengthy example involving an NPC who appears helpful, but may be hiding a sinister motive.
