Lego City: Undercover Trailer

"Chase McCain is appropriately deep undercover in Lego City: Undercover.
Take a look at this new trailer to see what kinds of trouble he faces."

The humour is maybe a little stupid, but the game looks really fun. Can't wait to play it, once I get a WiiU and the game.

I dunno. I like what they've done with the Wii U controller; pretty cool idea to use it as the PDA type device.

Building vehicles... that was one of the funnest parts of Banjo-Kazooie Nuts and Bolts so I hope they execute on this well.

Has there been a Lego game where they talked? I can't remember any talking in the Star Wars or Indiana Jones games... it was just muffled random noises. I don't know if I like it here, probably because the VO didn't strike me as well directed and the script sounded really stupid.

Yeah, they talk in the Lord of the Rings game. But that's speak taken directly from the game. Haven't tried it yet, so don't know if it is any good.

This looks like the perfect game to have around for holidays with younger family members. Good for all ages but tolerant for adults.

Characters speak in Lego Batman 2 and Lego Lord of the Rings. I think those are the first two to have spoken dialog.

That's too bad. I always liked the mumbling... you could make up whatever you wanted the character to be saying. Plus, from a production standpoint you save a shit-ton on VO, localization, and integration.
