ConsoleWars.de (German) is reporting that CESA, the organizer of TGS, has announced their "Best Of TGS" Awards. Sony and Capcom were the big winners this year. In no particular order, the awards went to:
Gran Turismo HD - Sony (PS3)
The Eye of Judgment - Sony (PS3)
Heavenly Sword - Sony (PS3)
Blue Dragon - Microsoft (Xbox360)
Lost Planet - Capcom (Xbox360)
Elebits - Konami (Wii)
Seiken Densetsu 4 (Dawn of Mana) - Square/Enix (PS2)
Tales of Destiny - Namco/Bandai (PS2)
Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops - Konami (PSP)
Monster Hunter Portable 2nd - Capcom (PSP)
Phoenix Wright - Capcom (NDS)
It's worth noting that Nintendo doesn't have a booth there, and thus are ineligible to win awards.

Here's a video of it from E3: GameTrailers. The Eyetoy tech they are using is very impressive.
I saw the exact same concept at play on the Gizmondo. You can see for yourself on GameTrailers.
Cards on a table are recognized by the camera then 3D objects are laid atop.
I don't know how impressive the tech is if a failed handheld had the exact same technology in it...
Skip to about 26 seconds in to see the part about the camera. They use the camera to control the camera in a FPS and then (around 43 seconds) they introduce cards with animated 3D creatures overlaid by the system.
New Tales of Destiny? It's a remake of the SNES title.
It is a remake of the PS1 title, using the battle system from Tales of the Abyss. It was one of the four new Tales games Namco-Bandai announced not too long ago. It is worth noting that only one of those four is an entirely new game.

Heavenly Sword is a UK-developed game, I believe. But it also really struggles to come across as Asian in origin, IMO (which is kind of a shame, as the earlier designs of the game were a little more original).

I stand corrected. I had confused it with Tales of Phantasia, which is going on its 4th release via the PSP.
And Trusty Bell... Mistwalker had nothing but crisp looking games. And uhhhh Blue Dragon ain't better than the other two at that. Good caliber but I'd but it third amond the offerings.
