Mad Catz' S.T.R.I.K.E.5 gaming keyboard lets you take control and play your games like YOU want to! With 5 separate hardware devices, the modular design lets you customize the layout while the fully 21 Programmable Macro Buttons offers the option of 63 user-definable commands. It's one gaming weapon of choice you don't want to be without!
Honestly, I'm getting pretty sick of shit like this.
Maybe it's just me, but I'm tired of silly light-up input devices with an absurd amount of customizability.
I'm sure this is right up someone's alley and will likely look amazing next to their RAT mouse...but I, for one, simply don't have the patience to be bothered with it.

That's what you say now! You'll be signing a different tune when some Dude Bros own your ass in Farming Simulator 2013!
Wow that looks... stupid. Way to overdo it Madcatz.
The connecting cables break it for me. Also, if the top-left unit was a detachable MadCatz 360 controller (rechargeable interface), it'd be a lot cooler.

Honestly for most online games (mainly mmorpg's and arpg's) these days if I didn't have my Razer Naga I simply wouldn't play them. Most have way too damn many things you need bound to keys that surpass what I find comfortable for my left hand to hit on the keyboard. If my mouse didn't have 17 buttons that I could fully rebind, create macro's for and so on then I'd give up on a lot of games.

I'm actually okay with stuff like the Naga; extra buttons make sense and I like that sort of option.
It's shit like the R.A.T(which is also from MadCatz...go figure) and this ridiculous keyboard that irritate me.
I don't need to be able to customize every aspect of my mouse's grip. I don't need to completely rearrange the setup of my keyboard. It's just extraneous, gimmicky bullshit.

When the fuck was this gaming news? You at least need to put an editorial stab at this. Why the hell was this posted?
Gonna take a stab here but.. because it's gaming related? You'll also see threads about movie trailers and the occasional book thread as well, in the news section. If there's something you'd like to see as news you can always submit it for us to post

This was an embedded commercial with a quote from the producer of the item. No commentary. That is not news, that is a commercial. I don't necessarily object to the item being focused on but it was hardly presented as news. This should be a guideline for newsposts: "If you have nothing to say about the news item, it is not good news".
Really not my kinda thing, i do to much work on my pc to have a keyboard like that, really looks like a some thing for a 16year old but hey i have no idea bought this kinda stuff.
Why the fuck would anyone want to spend that much money on a non-mechanical keyboard? Seriously, customization is (potentially) cool, but it doesn't mean shit if the keys feel like shit.
Design is all screwed up heavy arrow key users! I'll stick with my Logitech Illuminated Wireless keyboard. Best keyboard ever, bar none. I'd have the wired version but that version blocks shift+w+space being pressed at the same time.
My RAT 7 is the best mouse I've ever owned. I'm tempted to get the Strike 7 version of this keyboard, the customization in mind behind their new product line is great. Most of the people laughing about these items have probably never used anything like it before.
I'm sick of the extreme gamer 5,000 LED light shit myself but sometimes it's worth it. Modular design and horizontal scrolling is the future man.
