An Insider walkthrough from Criterion of Need for Speed Most
Wanted. Check out the open world of Fairhaven City, and the
high-octane races and chases that take place within.
Is it just me, or are the pursuit brakers from the first game missing? those were awesome for keeping the heat off.

Agreed, pursuit breakers were a lot of fun. I really enjoyed the first Most Wanted, finished it several times (even pulled it out and replayed it about 12 months ago)
I would totally buy this game... if it was on steam
Looks pretty damn fun actually. I skipped NFS The Run, but I might buy this
Borrowed NFS the run from a friend (refuse to buy EA games), actually quite good. Story was adequate and game progressed well. If you find it cheap it's worth your while

I still don't understand this mentality. I play almost exclusively on my Xbox, but if an exclusive game comes out on the PS3 or Wii that I want to play I will buy it.

Dunno, guess i think of my games/gaming as a collection. As any collection its nice to have it all in 1 place, easy access no messing around. For me finishing a game is a accomplishment and i've persevered through many games that were rubbish just to finish them (Yes i'm OCD about it, Steam library is sorted into Finished, Playing & To Finish). Also for the last 10 years or so i've saved all my "finished saves". Great to have them in 1 place, what i don't want is them stored across multiple online stores/programs. Steam is perfect especially with newer games since it saves my games online.
My gaming is almost exclusively PC. To put it into perspective i have a PS3 and 3 games for it. Maybe this year i'll add a 4th but not likely.
Everyone is entitled to their preference even when it dosnt make sense

I enjoyed NFS The Run as well. The driving model was decent for an arcade racer and there was some great scenery.
