Growlanser: Wayfarer of Time Trailer

Growlanser: Wayfarer of Time is coming for the PSP on July 31, 2012.

Quote:
Never before released outside of Japan and widely considered the best entry in the long‐running franchise, Growlanser: Wayfarer of Time tells of a land—once rich with culture and technology—long ago nearly wiped out by evanescent divine beings. Two millennia later, the beings appear again, threatening to bring about an end to all things unless a powerful warrior can rise against them.

I gave an old friend a copy of Growlanser as a birthday gift back in the day and he told me it was a very grueling 70+ hour RPG with a deep story.

Growlanser 2 was one of my favorite RPGs of the PS2 era. I am really looking forward to this.

Does that plot just about sum up 70% of JRPGs?
