The Centurion is a humanoid, medium weight class, 50 ton 'Mech with a max speed of 64 kilometers an hour. It is the epitome of a balanced 'Mech. Good speed, good armour, excellent weapons load out. If you're unsure of which 'Mech best suits you, it is an excellent choice.
1xAutocannon/10 - not bad for close ranged but limited ammo supply
1xLRM-10 - solid ranged attack
2xMedium Lasers - They aren't clan so will run hot and under preform
64 mph - Nice
Jump Jets - Nil - FUCK THAT
I'll take a Jenner over this hunk of junk.

Watching this video again and listening to the guy drone on about pre-fabricated load outs gets my spider senses tingling they may not allow you to fully customize mechs in this game, instead rather having to "purchase" varying configurations. That's just me being cynical but I've got a bad feeling it could go this way.

It wouldn't surprise me if they make players unlock every upgrade slot, either through hours of play time or money. That's how these F2P games usually work, trying to nickle and dime everyone since the free way would take too long.
These mechs are solid workhorses. The only issue with that is, who wants to ride the workhorse? But they were always a favorite of mine for tactical games

Fairly sure one of the early videos showed you being able to customize any mech any way you want. Not sure why they'd try and remove that ability, so I'd guess you just buy mechvariants for a set price, but then get the chance to customize for a greater fee or somesuch.

A video of a dev creating the worst mech ever was shown. We do not know how the players will gain the right to customize mechs, though.
