District B13 is also released on DVD this week.

I'm all over that, plus I'll probably go see The Protector (and maybe The Covenant, depending on word of mouth).

Will I buy Test Drive Unlimited? Part of me wants to buy it to help support the low price point, but there's another part of me which says not to based on the recent demo.

I'm going to check out Perimeter: Emperor's Testament. I'm just glad it even got released here in the States. Perimeter was one of the most enjoyable and original RTS games in a long time.

"3 Great Games for Girls" certainly sounds exciting, but I think I'll wait for "Yakuza" instead

Aw, come one! You get the four years old game Syberia, Saddle Up: Time to Ride and Return to Mysterious Island. I'm sure they are all great games, that all girl gamers have been waiting for.

just by putting the title, great games for girls, on it they've got that confused grandmother market sewn up.

Little Suzie had an intendo something or other, and it's her birthday next week, I bet she'd like a nice video game...

You think the gamestop/walmart/best buy clerks are gonna stop her?

Syberia is an excellent game. If that collection is cheap, pick it up for that game alone.

And yeah, I'm intrigued about Yakuza.

I'm interested in Yakuza, but I haven't really read anything about it in a while so I'll give it a rent first. Like I need more games at the moment.

Otherwise, looks like a nice light week this week. Some quasi-interesting PC adventure games, but nothing I'll run out and pick up. Good thing I'm out of town though... those DVD releases are crazy! So many good titles out tomorrow.

Yeah, other than a few ads, Yakuza's been really light on media presence. Not sure what to make of it. Another GTA clone, or better than that?

And sadly, six months ago my computer would not have met those specs.
