From what I'm getting from listening to this.. they have no real fucking clue why people were pissed.
People are pissed because we were all told there would be multiple endings for our decisions. Not Red, Blue, and Green change of colors. All endings were the SAME GODDAMN THING.
My prediction is they go back to earth and find the last Golden Corral. Then those bitches can have it any way they want, with a chocolate fountain surprise at the end.

See how this 'extended' thing goes.
Yep.. you can't just explain away this problem. It would take a complete rewrite of the game code to change the stories "personal" decision path. Face it.. they can't recover from this major fuck up. It's still going to be Red, Blue and Green.. just with an asterisk now.
I played the first two obsessively; bought the 360 and PC version of ME3 (PC for MP and 360 to continue with my save). Then I played the MP on ME3 for a few weeks and had some fun. Didn't touch the campaign based on the news I'd heard and wanted to wait. Nothing I've heard about the DLC compels me to want to revisit the title at this point in time.
I'm one of the ones who LOVED the original ending and hope they don't change much. Also, when they talk about the ending, I think they are referring to the whole build up to the last battle, who you talk to, who's with you, who you call on the phone, all of those little details are the many differences they were referring to, not the three choices at the end that I ALWAYS see the complainers refer to.
Also, of you haven't seen this, watch it and agree this all makes sense:
Casey Hudson can go fuck himself twice; sideways with a broomstick!

The indoctrination theory video was a complete mindfuck for me. After finishing the game I finally understood why people were so pissed and started looking around for more info and found that. I'm still hoping their comments are just a rouse to keep people interested enough until they could release the DLC, and it is in fact what happened.
Don't watch it if you haven't finished the game yet. Would be an epic twist.
