Weekend Gamer: What are you playing?

Waiting for the weekend to start, I am trying to plan which games I will play. Do I want to go with something new? Something old? I have no clue what will strike my fancy. I am curious to see what is reported from E3 next week, but that still doesn't help my gaming dilemma - though, I guess dilemma is not the right word because when playing games - how can that be wrong? What are you playing this weekend?

Exact carbon copy of last weekend's prediction, honestly. Except this is my special weekend, as my birthday is Monday. So I will invoke Right To Be A Lazy Game-Playing Bum this weekend.

Probable: More progress in Batman: Arkham City.

Possible: Beginning Closure.

I'm thinking of doing a video on forgotten FPS games...

...so last night I busted out Star Trek: Elite Force & No One Lives Forever 2. Love both of those games!

And for the record: Kate Archer is a hottie.

Ghost Recon, Hitman Sniper Challenge, Max Payne 3, and maybe even some more Sniper Elite V2.

I haven't been able to play anything the last three or four days, so I'm hoping to make up for that over the weekend.

Running through Nightmare for Diablo III in Co-op, and maybe some Darkness 2 thanks to Gamefly. Then I'll go back to more Diablo III.

Ghost Recon and Diablo 3 for me. Still haven't finished the first playthrough of either game. I might throw in some Dead Island Co-op for good measure

I'll be playing Bastion tonight and tomorrow night.
After that it's laptop/travel time, so I'll probably play Puzzle Agent 2. Just realized I owned that one.

I was going to play some Max Payne 3 until you guys pissed all over it and made me lose interest

I guess back to Diablo 3 I go, time to get slapped by the inferno packs like a little girl.

My idea is to play some Resistence 1 ... but I might just keep to Fable 3 ... who knows some Diablo 3 if my friends join ( this game is just terrible alone)

Hopefully finish up the campaign in Max Payne 3 on Hard. Despite all the pissing and moaning about the game here, I'm still enjoying it and having fun - so bite me! :P

I'll be playing "watch all the E3 nonsense". Not sure what I'll load up though. Minor gamer burnout after flying through Dead Island. Prolly a little BF3. Maybe some casual or indie titles I have on the backlog. Keep it light.

My stupid ass god drunk and bought max payne 3 last night on steam, and although I already hate almost everything about it, the gunplay is still kind of fun I guess. I'll probably try to finish it to justify my purchase.

Seriously though, who thought anyone wanted to play a max payne game that was 90% cut-scenes? This cinematic gaming bullshit has got to stop. It has completely ruined action games.

Don't worry, things even out as you move along in Max Payne 3. Eventually the gun play is just as boring as the cut scenes.
