Three screenshots of 38 Studios' MMO Project Copernicus have been leaked by an anonymous source on the 38Watch.com forum. They show three of the game's races: the Almain, Dverga and Jottun. Click the headline to view all the screens. Editor: Update. It appears this project is DOA. 38 Studios has laid off their entire staff.
I love the art style of the characters. A shame the backgrounds they showed in the teaser trailer were so bland. This needs to be re-tooled into a single player RPG.

But, but.... they already took a single player RPG and re-tooled it into this MMO. If they re-tooled this back into a single player RPG, you'd end up with Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning again.
Take their Amalur combat system, wrap it in a MMO system. Something TERA already does (just not very 'fluent').
But isnt 38 Studios broke (again)? I doubt we'll ever see this game.

Yeah, last I heard they were having a hard time trying to pay their employees. Shame...Amalur wasn't that bad.

If the graphics in Amalur had looked like this, it wouldn't have failed.

No chance this will come out, the company went out of business today and laid off their entire staff.
Craporama. The one MMO I was actually looking forward to because I really liked Reckoning. And Reckoning has fantastic graphics and artwork, give me a break.
I'm glad they pushed out the DLC before they went under at least. Such terrible news.
