The Amazing Spider-Man Pre-Order Exclusives

Activision has announced the GameStop and Amazon pre-order exclusives for Beenox's action game, The Amazing Spider-Man, which is set for release on June 26th.

Quote:
Pre-order Now from GameStop - The Rhino Challenge

Take control of the massive, genetically engineered villain RHINO and rampage around Manhattan in an exclusive gameplay challenge of pure destruction! As Rhino, players will be able to unleash his formidable powers to destroy anything and everything that gets in his way in a timed event full of speed, combo streaks, and of course, a ton of things to break! Unlockable for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PlayStation®3 system ONLY. While supplies last. Limited time only.

Pre-order Now from Amazon.com - Play as Stan Lee for the First Time Ever

All the rumors can officially be put to rest - for the first time ever, fans will be able to play...STAN...LEE as himself in The Amazing Spider-Man. Players will take on the role of Stan "The Man" Lee in his own special mission across Manhattan, borrowing abilities from his old pal Spider-Man as they help Stan collect pages of his latest script in a spectacular race around Manhattan. Stan's mission is punctuated with his witty banter that fans have come to know and love, and a special surprise waits for them at the end of the mission - after all, it is Spider-Man's 50th anniversary this year! Unlockable for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PlayStation®3 system ONLY. While supplies last. Limited time only.

Reminds me of the Bruce Banner skin in Ultimate Destruction. That was such a great unlockable.

Is it me or should Mr. Lee have powers on par with the Super Skrull? I don't see him having only one set of super powers, but a super set of everyone's powers.

I'd much rather see him wearing old man pajamas and a bathrobe instead of that business suit.

I doubt I'll preorder, despite how awesome this bonus is; I'm sure the game will be crap.

That picture looks more like George Bush Sr. than Stan Lee.

I was going to say, at first glance, that isn't Stan.. you really have to look at it to realize who it is.

Ultimately tho, this isn't enough to sell me. Spiderman games only hold onto so much value over time. Thus, I always wait for these games to go down in price. I still haven't gotten Shattered Dimensions.

Stan Lee isn't known for wearing pajamas. You are thinking of Hugh Hefner.

Thats the world Booda ... the people that do and think never get the credit ... you read that in all the famous people biography - which pretty much state how phony they are.

The first Spiderman game for the PS1 is still the best. The What-If mode was an amazing unlockable.

Why are there so many ads for Jeans Store? In that picture alone there are 4 banners. People must really need to be reminded that you can purchase Jeans at a Jeans Store.

The picture of Stan is hilarious. I wonder if there are side missions involving prune juice or metamucil.

I'm not thinking of Hugh Hefner. I'm thinking of the insanity that is Stan Lee.
He isn't known for it, but I'd much rather be swinging around a virtual NYC as a crazy, pajama-wearing Stan Lee than "standard business suit" Stan Lee.
