The Expendables 2 - Trailer 2


Mr. Church reunites the Expendables for what should be an easy paycheck,
but when one of their men is murdered on the job, their quest for revenge
puts them deep in enemy territory and up against an unexpected threat.

I thought the new G.I. Joe trailer from last week was basically the sequel to Expendables.

First one was solid 80's action fun. This one looks set to top that in the fun department. Plus, it's bringing the Norris.

The first movie...was surprisingly lame and not in a good way. I really, really wanted to like it...but it just felt forced.

However, if this gets even decent review, I'll crack a six pack with DMP on the couch and laugh my ass off watching it.

If you went into the first one expecting a thin veneer of throw-away story(ala Commando) and really cool action then you actually got more than you expected.

If you went into it expecting to think about something beyond, "Wow that looks cool"... you did it wrong.

This looks like more of the same. Which is EXCELLENT!

This is what I don't get. People kept saying the first one sucked, that the story was stupid...

They just don't get '80s action flicks.

The plot is irrelevent. What matters is bigass guns, bigass knifes, bigass explosions, bigass one-liners.

Commando is the greatest '80s action movie of all time. I don't even remember the plot (something about deers?).
