Meh to the gameplay videos I've seen and Meh to the intro. I can't even be bothered to sign up for the beta it looks and sounds so pedestrian. The intro doesn't tell you wtf is going on. The ship crashes in the southern hemisphere and electricity comes out of the north pole?
Also, the PAX East video was mildly entertaining, but they shouldn't be that proud of their long lines. They were letting people play for 20 minutes which means lines are bound to form. Besides, virtually EVERY game at EVERY convention tends to have long lines. I can barely breath at PAX Prime much less the sheer crush of people I get to smell at something like SD Comic-con or Gamescon. In the video game area, you're waiting usually 10 - 20 minutes at a minimum.
Lines are not an indication of how awesome your game is.
