Wanna fire a real machine gun at a real truck via the internet? Of course you do. Sign up now for a chance to shoot at www.shootmytruck.com. And watch the uncensored version.
In honor of Twisted Metal's launch on PS3, we've aimed an M249-SAW at a real-life version of Sweet Tooth's ice cream truck. On 2/14 and 2/15, we're letting you pull the trigger by hitting a button on your computer.
That's right. Fire a military-grade machine gun just by pressing your space bar.
It's a two-day, shoot-till-the-truck-goes-up-in-a-gigantic-ball-of-flames-style internet spectacular. And it's all happening live at www.shootmytruck.com.
I blanked on the part where he was talking about the game, because I thought to myself at the end of the video...cool idea, how's he make money off of this?
The game actually came out?! Twisted metal 1-2 were on par with goldeneye as far having friends over and playing. Then they just ruined the rest of the series with bullshit. Does the new game still have that aerial combat bullshit ala transformers?
The new Twisted Metal looks and controls like a PS2 game. It's beyond horrible. No wonder Jaffe quit. Freaking Full Auto, released in 2006, is a far better game than this piece of crap.
I really like Black, but it seems that this one is going to suck. A lot of red flags are popping up with Jaffe leaving, focus on mobile gaming, layoffs, and no future plans for the series (DLC or sequels). Plus, the controls were totally unintuitive. I died before I could ever get going in any match. The latter turned me off to playing the demo and I haven't turned it back on. The magic is gone. Not looking good for Twisted Metal.
