The idea of a sniper game sounds very boring if they made it realistic. Being a Sniper IRL has to be one of the most tense jobs in the world, but as a video game, sounds pretty boring.

The exclusivesess to the PS3 is so hawt only it's on the PC as well.
And this is why my PS3 is basically used as a doorstop.

Modern day sniping isn't about hiding in a ditch for hours and crawling by the inch, but rather is about high mobility in an urban setting and would actually make a real fun game, because no sooner do you take a shot then you have to vacate that building before the enemy levels it with artillery, mortars, and plane-cover >_> Sounds pretty damn fun to me ^_^

It is both. We have seen examples of the old school sniper with the Navy Seals vs the Somali pirates (sitting on a boat just waiting for the word), while yes in Iraq you can be in an urban setting and sit on top of a roof and nail bad guys.
Also, I haven't been over seas, but I would assume Afghan sniping is a lot different than Iraq sniping.
Still doesn't sound like a fun video game either way.
