Ubisoft May Be Considering Ghost Recon and Assassin's Creed Movies

A reader from Evil Avatar just sent me a survey he received, indicating that Ubisoft may be considering creating a movie based on the Ghost Recon and Assassin's Creed licenses. The survey asks several questions regarding viewing habits of movies, what your favorite movies, actors and directors are, then goes into a whole piece regarding movies based on video games.

Then the survey gets more specific, asking questions regarding what the submitter would want out of a movie based upon Ghost Recon, specifically where the movie would fall in line of the overall Ghost Recon timeline and which special Recon teams would be the focus.

Following the Ghost Recon section, the survey asks a similar question regarding what the submitter would want to see out of an Assassin's Creed movie, including exploring Ezio and Subject 16 further, as well as possibly focusing on a new assassin.

Maybe Ubisoft should consider making deadlines instead of worrying about damn movies.

Or use some of their IPs... they are practically just sitting on Tom Clancey's name. I want a new rainbow six game, still waiting on the new ghost recon, I am alive is another game that they keep pushing and pushing off.

I mean seriously, stop wasting time and do what you are good at... making games.

Assassin's Creed could be cool, but Ghost Recon? I love the series as a game, but it doesn't have a stand out plot or premise.

An Assassin's Creed movie could be PHENOMENAL if done right... but LOL, who am I kidding? How often is a video game-based movie "done right?"

I just heard that Steven Spielberg is directing the Assassins Creed movie! Very Very cool! I can't wait to see it!
