Recently, PETA blew a cash wad out of its ass to commission a game that (according to a tweet by @SuperMeatBoy) cost more to develop than Super Meat Boy.
Apparently elated at the mainstream (?) exposure, Team Meat fired back yesterday with an update for the Steam version of SMB that added Tofu Boy to SMB as an alternate version of the titular hero, selectable by typing "petaphile" at the character-select screen.

which i can agree with. My point is that, some of those people would choose saving a deer then saving a human. Those people need to go.
I am not a people person either by any means, but i am not going giving up the opportunity to save a person because lets face it, if they are doing something dumb, i want to be the one smacking them on the back of the head.

Huh, I never thought of it as siding with animals over humans. Always seemed more like their point was that animals feel pain like people do and we don't have to kill animals to survive. Granted, Peta maybe takes some things too far and that leaves some people with a bad taste in their mouth...but some of the basic principles there don't seem overly crazy. Oh well.
Anyway, haven't played Super Meat Boy yet but tried Tofu Boy and not liking the controls at all. If Super Meat Boy is anything like that, I think I'll stay away from it. Can anyone comment?
Huh, I never thought of it as siding with animals over humans. Always seemed more like their point was that animals feel pain like people do and we don't have to kill animals to survive. No i get that point, i am not saying all their views are this, but some people believe, animals are more important then humans... kind of disgusting. lol
