The Raptr Blog has released their first report detailing the statistics of the Halo: Reach playerbase, and the numbers are staggering (alarming?). Some choice bits from their analysis:
Halo: Reach Completion Rates - 1st week of Sales
On Normal difficulty – 37.35%
On Heroic difficulty – 22.29%
On Legendary difficulty – 11.87%
Average Total Playtime:
23.07 Hours (about 1/3 of players have logged over 30 hours)
Toughest Achievements To Unlock
Make It Rain - 0.18%
An Honor Serving - 0.68%
A Monument To Your Sins - 5.46%
And as expected, Reach has finally de-throned CoD:MW2 as the most-played game on Xbox 360 following the military shooter's 10-month reign.
I'm now curious to see what happens once Call of Duty: Black Ops drops. Will Activision take back the crown, or will Team Halo be able to hang for a while against the CoD juggernaut?
MW2 still stands on top of the Xbox 360 Top LIVE Titles(based on unique user count) provided by major nelson, and Halo Reach is ranked #3 behind Halo 3.
Although there seem to be "Call of Duty" fatigue, core gamers will eventually move onto Black Ops because Halo just doesn't provide that hardcore, break-neck paced twitchy action.
How many online hours have been logged since launch?
That might be newsworthy. Telling us the percentile of people who have beat the game and on which difficulty is lame.
Who cares?
