I wonder if that female assassin type was an enemy or a possible player character type. I would enjoy a good sneak and kill system in a fantasy game, better than Oblivions.
Looks good. Will all versions look like that? Hopefully it has online coop play. I also hope that the acting and dialog are improved. The first one was terrible.
The first one was an EXCELLENT RPG if you gave it a chance and got past the initial graphics and voice acting shock. I'm really looking forward to this.
Yes, here we go again, another game that I will champion and love while the rest of you do your best to destroy its public image utterly and completely.
I'm completely in the mood for an Oblivion-type RPG these days. I was intrigued by the first one and almost picked it up after I finished Oblivion. Hopefully ElektroDragon will pick this one up and give us a quick review before I pull the trigger.

looking forward to this, enjoyed the first one, on the pc.
too bad they chose to use the console versions for the trailer, as it looks like crap compared to the pc side, at least from the screenshots i've seen so far.

I've been receiving the very detailed newsletter for this game for months now from the development team. It's going to be an awesome Euro RPG, much improved from the first.
Of course, since it doesn't have guns or zombies, few of the people who frequent this site will like it.
Looks kind of like a darker, more violent Fable, gameplay wise. That could be a good thing OR a bad thing.
But yes--the original game wasn't nearly as bad as it's made out to be by detractors. It had plenty of flaws, but was actually pretty fun to play, mostly if you could get past the agonizingly bad dialog. Hopefully they'll have corrected those problems in this one and it will be worth at least picking up at the $20-$30 range. (Maybe even higher than that if it has good online co-op.)

I agree. I like the first one. Cannot understand why people are bashing it.
It had some balance problems (like combining crap swords over and over to make one-hit god weapons) and the story fell apart near the end.
The technology was impressive. The game loaded in 3-4 seconds!
Anyway - I will definately buy this.

its kind of hard to gain the communities trust when the first one launched falling hort of everything they claimed it would do. main thing i wanted was multiplayer and it was completely broken aggravating as hell!
