The weekend is here - time to plan out the games you are going to play, as well as plan on the games you are going to buy as gifts before next weekend. What is the hot gifts you want to get/give? What are you going to play?

I'll be working on my second playthrough of Dragon Age or dusting off my WoW account to help a friend out with some quests. I might throw in some LittleBigPlanet with my son, as well.
I just finished my first playthrough of Borderlands so I will probably start #2 so I can make my way to level 50. I also rented MW2 so I can try and finish the game real quick like so people will stop spoiling the single player story on podcasts.
Playing through Mirror's Edge and Dark Sector in my Finish All Steam Games project. I am not particularly enjoying any of those two, so I will probarbly play some Penumbra, which so far has been an AMAZING game. Kinda want it to last a long time though, so don't want to finish it
At home I'm playing through the original Assassin's Creed. I never got around to beating it, and with the sequel having been released, I want to finally get it done before getting that. I love the game, I just kept getting dragged off to play other things every other time I've attempted to get through it.
Beyond that, I'll probably play a bit of Dragon Age. I'm going to be visiting the parents this weekend so I can watch the Ohio State/Michigan game with my dad (OSU Alum here), and I'll probably play some DA while watching that.
As for gift buying, I've already completed that. I bought my sister the collector's edition of Dragon Age and the collector's edition of the strategy guide for Christmas. I'm proud that I corrupted her into playing video games (she's a big Star Wars fan, so I started with KotoR and have worked out from there) and I'm the only one in the family who feeds her new addiction. Oh, and for anyone who hasn't seen the collector's strategy guide, its probably the most impressive I've seen. Really high quality stuff there. I may have to buy a copy for my gaming book shelf.
MW2, GoW Collection (if it arrives), Dragon Age: Origins and Assassins Creed 2 possibly..

A good portion of MW2, a pinch of Gears of War 2, and Left 4 Dead 2 sprinkled all over. If I remember to go to the store, I'll add Assassin's Creed 2 to the recipe.

I picked up "007: Quantum of Solace" from Game Crazy on the cheap ($7) last week, and I'm going to try and play through, hopefully picking up some easy 'cheevos on the way. If I finish that one and still have time left, I'll probably play some of the single-player mode of Inferno Pool (which is an AWESOME 4-player same-room party game, btw).
Had to drop Borderlands so I could pay Torchlight.

So this weekend I'll get my fill of L4D2 and then maybe re-visit the other two.
Also probably some MW2, some Bad Company 2 beta, and a few other things as well that may pop up.
