Went to see Avatar again over the weekend, the theater was STILL packed. Despite the fact it borrows it's plot from other movies, the Avatar story is still well told and presented and I really enjoy it.

I'm wondering if the drop in earnings was from people are buying tickets for other films in the theater, using their old glasses, and actually going to see Avatar to avoid paying the $3+ premium for 3D movies. Not that I would do anything like that...

For some reason I totally want to see Dear John. Possibly because Amanda Seyfried totally reminds me of a chick I was crushing on when I joined up back in '90.

Dear John was absolutely breathtaking. The acting was superb, the story timeless, and the set-pieces were simply astounding. I'd have to say it is one of the best movies I've seen this year. Bravo. ...

Heh heh heh.

Kind of surprising that the movie to dethrone Avatar ends up being a chick flick.

Linkage would really rock. k thx.

'Chloe' looks like a melodramatic version of 'Extract.'

While it has performed decently in the box office, I would have liked "The Book of Eli" to break at least 100 million. It was a great movie in my opinion.
