I never pre-order...and I do mean never. This is the first time I can remember doing so. I'm looking forward to this one in a big way.
Not to beat a dead horse, but I can't get over the no-dedicated server thing. So instead of ranting, I'll just tell them how I feel by not buying their game. Or the $10 map packs that will ensue shortly after.

I doubt IW or Activison even cares. All the money they're raking in on the consoles from this; they may as well be shitting gold bars. Good for them I suppose. It's solidly a console franchise now, so maybe they'll stop making PC versions after this one if it should fail to sell (on PC) to their expectations.
IMO though, they lost their touch for SP along the way, which is what I personally enjoyed the most about IW's games. The Medal of Honor series SP games were awesome, but CoD SP made me feel more like a spectator than a player most of the time. Friendlies constantly hogging your cover, not getting out of your way 90% of the time; nor giving adequate cover fire when you advance. Also, the invisible "frontline" you could advance to most times without ever firing a shot on infantry combat maps.. you know, the spot where enemies would stop spawning until you reach the next combat area. Or, Lol!, are you behind cover!? Bwahahaha! Don't worry, the AI knows you're there and doesn't care about the rest of your squad, they just rain grenades on you... Sucka!
Maybe someday IW will leave Activision and go back to making good SP FPS's for PC again, but I doubt it. So much for my misguided sense of loyalty to them. (IW) I always bought their versions and have never played a Treyarch copy/paste job, based on that loyalty. Ironic how that has backfired; the joke's on me I suppose. Oh well, I'm sure eventually Activision will fire them all and pass the shit along to ValuSoft for one last moneygrab like they did SoF. Or maybe not. I'm done supporting them either way.

Same, but the game will probably make IW and Activision a bazillion dollars anyway.
Also, if you eat enough colloidal gold (or silver), you can get a condition called arygyria, which makes your skin turn blue-gray, like Papa Smurf here:
or this apparently undead woman:
I've often wondered if there might be a market for selling colloidal silver to people who want to turn themselves into looking like vampires permanently. Gives you that perfect undead look >_>
Also..not sure why people bother arguing with teecakes... I sincerely believe now that he is a bot built by Sony and unleashed on small community sites.
Just pre-ordered mine. Save $10 from the Dragon Age promo. Good stuff!
