Funny how there is always one person that has to ruin a conversation. Congrats internet Douche, you are it today. Continue being a troll. And that is as far as I am going to go with responding to you.

Do you retreat to calling people trolls every time they frame their point with a bit of humor? Really insecure dude. Really insecure. 'Sides! Who doesn't like a little lube-fuck now and again? I know I do. I do.

No, but bait is bait. And I am not going to engage in conversation like this anymore. Its pointless. I stated my views on the subject in an attempt to actually have a conversation on them, but instead, we get this crap.

It happens on every forum post. Someone always has to shit on it. There is always one. Usually you can figure out who it is going to be. But then you get that one guy that hides in the shadows, that never posts anything. That comes out during things like this, and just shits on the conversation. He happens to be that guy.

Nothing insecure about what I said. And I am under full appreciation that people have their sides. Its much like the government. Democrat or Republican. I am neither, I am pro people. And just like in gaming, I am not Xbox, nor Playstation, I am pro gamer/gaming.

I got one today; did it to myself, breaking a rather important piece on my travel trailer. Cost several hundred dollars to fix.

Oh man, was I pissed. Kinect should have been watching me at that moment. Lots of great data.

Saint, I appreciated the info you were offering in the spirit with which it was intended, to be helpful. Thank you!

Like most things we're finding out with this next gen., a lot of the really important details will have to wait until they're on retail shelves and in people's hands. Inquiring hobbyist minds like us want to know now, however...NOW!

That is the claim currently. Now if you want to believe it or not is another deal and I don't blame anyone for not trusting that even if it is "off" that it is actually on.

"Best Buy and Microsoft will launch 600 Microsoft stores within Best Buy retail locations in a store-within-a-store concept. The Microsoft stores will occupy 1500-2000 sq ft within each location. The terms of the deal are not announced, but I assume it benefits both as Best Buy would likely charge rent to help with declining revenue. For Microsoft, they may get cheaper facilities than building their own stores. The last I heard, MS had a very ambitious plan to launch hundreds of stores a year. I have doubts about the success of this venture, considering anecdotally almost every MS store I've seen in my travels was nearly empty. Since they all were located near Apple stores, the stark difference in foot traffic was apparent. The only exception was the MS store near Redmond, which had a decent crowd."

Why the eff is MS launching stores. Just because Apple decided it was a good idea? Goddamn, these people really will do anything without thinking.

No doubt, people need to be informed, and like I said, I understand people wanting to know the truth because there is a lot of people touting bullshit out there. And then there is people refusing to come to terms with other news and so on and so forth.

And I do understand the privacy thing. Fact remains for me at least, if they want to watch me game, fine. I don't watch tv thru them. I may try to watch football this season, or atleast a game to see how the fantasy football works on it, because being a big sports nut, that was kind of interesting to see. And I am kind of curious in the sense of how obnoxious it is.

But the majority of what I do on the machine is game. My console is always online, and I rarely borrow games. And with the family share plan, I am even less likely to share the games because I can think of about 10 people I'd share my games with. Or least willing to share games with.

They have been around for a while now in certain parts of the US, but its simple business. You are countering the direct competitor of your company. A simple consumer that doesn't know better could see the apple store and be like oh, why doesn't MSoft have one and make them more likely to continue to support Apple. This is also giving people the platform to see certain things first hand and be taught the ways they can apply it to their lives.

Not everyone is electronically smart.

But Apple's a hardware company, it makes sense. MS is software. No sense! What are they going to do, push Zunes on people! I think not.

Okay that's not quite fair, MS has made lots of harware. Like Mice, and keyboards, and Xbox, and... that's actually the end of the things that were successful on the market (scratch Zune and Windows Phone and I can't think of any others that even tried, so...).

Oh, oh, that Surface thing that failed! How could I forget.

As I would agree their hardware isn't there, but they still get dedicated employees (well maybe not "dedicated" but employees that have to share Microsofts products fairly) to have people get hands on with their products much like Apple does with their PCs and other devices. To have that level of overall support in your neighborhood instead of having to call online is nice.

Its just another platform for them to connect with their consumer base because most people when they see Windows they know PC, same with Apple. When I think Apple, I think of two products Ipod, and Iphone.

The MS store at Tyson's Corner mall is actually pretty cool and a lot more fun than the Apple store. Now that's the only MS store I've personally been too but it's pretty cool and they have a lot of good sales on Xbox games and other hardware actually.
