I like how the character models have no textures at all. X-Men Legends, this is not.

Yeah. I was struck by how bad some of the characters looked too (some are great, but others like Kid Flash just look weird. . . it's like they tried to morph a beefier model down to his size instead of making a new model for him or something). That's a small thing, but with really iconic/low detail costumes, shit like that really shows.

It could still be really fun, and you can just choose to not play with the characters who look funky.

If it's good, I'll grab it. But I really don't have high hopes for this one.

Mediocre game aside, the show itself was great. Too bad it was prematurely cancelled to make way for a shitty Teen Titans comedy-focused spin off.

I pre-ordered this almost a year ago, to support the show, which was fucking fantastic. But this looks like ass. I hope it plays at least as good as Marvel Ultimate Alliance One.

Lot of good that did, sadly.

I think it was one of those shows that CN was determined to cancel no matter what.

I normally disagree with the conspiracy crap but, in this case, you have a show that won an Emmy its first year, widespread acclaim, mainstream media notice in the form of Conan O'Brian, licensing deals and huge ratings increases. How does CN respond? They split the second season up by months and shut down a Kickstarter proposing to donate all money to the studio for the development of season three. Really, I have no idea what more success the show could have garnered and I am surprised the publisher of this game isn't suing over mishandling of the license they purchased.

@Rommel - Wow. I hadn't heard about any of that. To be honest, I'm part of the problem, because I never watch live TV anymore, so I'm never counted as a fan of the shows that I watch - with good reason because I'm not contributing.

Does CN have anything outside Adult Swim worth watching anymore?

They used to have Young Justice! Seriously, the show was brilliant. Mature plots that dealt with loss, love and crisis. It also is the best example of comic characters that openly acknowledge that some are more powerful than others and managed to weave multiple story line threads together without ever losing place or suffering the usual comic plot holes. Heck, even the voice acting was good!
