Why would Samsung want to buy a failboat of a company? There are better companys out there to spend money on.
Name recognition from their 30+age demographic group of people unaware of Sony's bs. (non gamers) Also they would be taking out a company from Japan. Samsung is Korean last time I checked so...DOUBLE WIN.
I'd buy a Vita just for the geek factor... they just need one game that I'd love to push me over the edge. A bundle with an updated FF7 that took advantage of the screen and hardware and I'd kill anyone who got in my way of a checkout lane.
This... Sony should really listen to the fans of their consoles and pay squeenix a crapload of cash to redo FF7 with todays graphics and animations. Make it a launch title for the PS4 and you would move ALOT of units, same if they put it on the Vita, finally it'd sell. It'd be like printing money.
Last time i was in Japan was in a department store and they literally had 2 full isles dedicated to FF7 merchandise. It was crazy, and this was only a couple years ago

I would be in line right behind you. I don't understand why this hasn't happened yet.

OLED is amazing. In fact, its freaking perfect. Like a goddamn moving photographic print. You just lost all credibility with that statement.
The Vita is worth it just to have a real OLED screen that size.
I "lost all credibility" by stating my experience while you simply countered by saying "It's amazing?"
K, sunshine. It has a big screen... cool story, bro. Excuse me for not wanting to spend 200+ bucks on an irrelevant handheld simply because it has a nicely-sized screen.
But thanks for being amusing as usual.

Any post 2009 COWON player has a OLED screen...something that has been around for 6 years...and they make better products that are meant for audiophiles. You might want to look into that ED if you are fascinated by OLED. In fact my COWON player hasn't got a single scratch on it.
Again, hostile takeover. Hostile takeover. The Koreans would love that :P
But you're right, maybe that's a bit rich for Asia to pull off. Would be like us letting the French buy Activision... oh, wait...
Thing about america is overall we have very little culture. Its all about the people of the world coming here to rape and pillage.
But yeah japan wont let sony die even if they should. Hopefully sony can pull it out and stay in video games. I want MS to go away but PSN is ass compared to even the 1st Xbox's online. Japanese companies have got to start hiring americans to do their internet stuff, they just aren't any good at it compared to the us.
And there is prolly a market for those skills coming up. They really don't have a choice.

Still haven't seen anything suggesting or proving that this is remotely true. I have less problems with PSN than I had with XBL.
Not for me. XBL was awesome for me. PSN is a pain in the ass. It works and is free but its got nothing on XBL. I didn't know this was even up for debate.

Of course it is, unless someone has some actual, I don't know... evidence?
No problems with PSN here. Just because some individuals seem to have problems with it doesn't make it factually worse. As I said, I myself had more problems with XBL. Without some sort of source of proof this is nothing but a bogus claim.

What is this evidence stuff? You are pissing me off. I dont think PSN is nearly as good as XBL, there is your evidence Dont blow me off then look around and go (huh? there is no evidence.) Sure if there were no XBL and we didnt know better it might be great but PSN is slow, clunky, the store is confusing, hell the whole PS3 UI is confusing (lemme guess, im just derp?)..
GT5 online is a joke compared to forza which should be good since its a first party game. Overall feel matters. If it didn't everything would be just highlighting and selecting lines of text.
Done get me wrong its great for free and i dont even have an xbox atm. But XBL is better. Can i get a hell yeah so PSPfreak will leave me alone?

So... kind of a troll post, right?
And no offense, but if the PSN store is confusing to you... I think you have some problems. Sounds like something a famboy makes up just to try to add something to his list of "dislikes." If anything, XBL has the more cluttered store, but I don't have a problem with either one.
But yeah, some people bitch that the online/store is "slow" or "clunky" and that "XBL is much better" yet there's apparently never been a shred of evidence to prove this.
And yes, evidence definitely matters, kiddies!

xbox live is generally better than psn. I've tried different games on both systems and xbox always comes on top. Example. RB3. You play a few songs before psn disconnects you. Xbox version? Works flawlessly.

If 1 person claims he had a bad experience with a company's customer service does that factually make the company's customer service as a whole bad?
I find it utterly hysterical that so many people use their lone examples as proof of something. Personally I find PS3 online to be generally better (yet I never make claims it's "better" than XBL)... guess we have a stalemate here. Your example indicates PSN>XBL and my example indicates otherwise. Both of us can't be right.
Common sense, people.
