On an island for 3 weeks what to play?
Im headed out to the South Pacific for 3 weeks and im going to need some games to hold me over when it gets dark outside and i cant do outdoor stuff anymore. What would you recomend i load up on my laptop? It should be playable with just the keyboard and touchpad. Ill probably have power but not internet.
Right now im thinking:
Sim City 2k
Dward Fortess
Terraria
Escape Velocity Nova (favorite game ever)
Avernum (looks like a good rpg)
Battle for Wesnoth
Grimrock? Maybe
(looking for some other suggestions)
Was thinking a good old school to turn based RPG

I really want to get Grimlock at some point. Trine is also sweet. I'm sure Trine 2 is even better from what I heard.

Borderlands can keep ya busy that time. Better with friends tho (still I played 200 hours solo :P).
There's Oblivion & Skyrim--easily three weeks of gameplay, if you do all the quests and take ya time.
I really enjoyed Divinity II also.

All games that i would enjoy sadly none of those would actually run on my poor old laptop. I need to play either low graphics games or old clasics

Older Civ games then or even Alpha Centuria (same premise, just in space).

GOG has the
Quest for Glory series on sale for 9 bucks. Old School RPG? Yep, its about as Old School as the come. That, and they are excellent games still.
