It's funny b/c every year they sell at full price what should basically be $DLC. They should probably only come out with a new game once every few years as normal.

I used to be a madden fanantic. hell, i went to the madden tournament when it came to San Francisco... I won my first two games and lost the third by 1 point. the kid with the dreads went crazy when he won. I still have my ID Badge from the tournament.
Now I don't even care.. its the same sh*t. When are they going to take it to the next level...OR... make the current version flawless. it still has issues. Come on!!! Make we want to play this game again.
Coming from a CG background, seeing them say that motion blur is a big deal makes me LOL. It doesn't even look well implemented. MB implies that the camera has a long enough shutter speed that from one frame to the next, the object has moved fast enough that it streaks. The way they have it seems like they are artificially blurring part of the character model to simulate that, but just ends up looking stupid - as if the NFL started using shitty cameras to record games. Long story short - Do not want.
Wow..ads have gotten that bad? BTW when does EA exclusive deal with NFL end?!?

The ads aren't that bad. I have played every year (still dont know how I get sucked in.. maybe because I am a nut for football, and get excited... that and in August there isn't much out yet.).
I just want them to steer away from the cartoonish player models. You look at games like Skyrim/ME3, and their player models are awesome. You look at madden, sad.
Make Franchise fun again. Add new player animations. Some have been around since the series began on the current gen. Make online franchise the same as offline.

Im not worried too much about game modes, etc. There are basic elements to the game, as you touched on here, that are pretty much broken. CBs dropping lobs in their hand namely all the time, while LBs grab one handed leaping interceptions.

They need to fix a lot of the gameplay.
I want new animations. Some have been here since the last gen. I want new runs, new tackles, catches, passes. Just a complete overhaul in that department. Which I am happy to see some of those changes.
Screen passes are brutal at times. Throwing the ball to the running backs backs. Just dumb.
Ball hawking linebackers are fine, just not at the rate of the last game. Corners are horrible. I dont even attempt to intercept a pass, just better to pat the ball away.
I also want the progression of players to be better. I want their overall to dictate their overall. I want my 70 overalls to feel like 70s. And the 99's to feel like it.

We all have the plays that seem to get the job done. I would like to see the AI pick up my on my groove and just demolish it. I think in the last game, I had 5 or 6 plays that netted me at least 15 yards a play. I stuck to those plays and just won all the time. I would love for that to stop.
Yes, I could do it myself, but I would like for the AI to make me do it. I want to feel challenged again.
