Looks like we might also get some Robin/Nightwing action too.

That's exactly what I keep thinking when I watch this trailer. Like, he won't be Robin/Nightwing during the film, but like at the end maybe.
Though honestly, I think it would be pretty fucking epic if the ending had Batman sacrificing himself and then he just takes over the duties as Batman.

You can't kill Bruce Wayne -- you best hope is to send him back in time.

I kind of would like to see Nolan kill Bruce Wayne. You know that after this they're only going to re-do the damn Batman franchise anyway, which I say just go for the epic ending. Of course I could be wrong and someone else will continue this world of Batman (which I would love to see).
Maybe after this trilogy DC will get smart seeing what Marvel is doing and try to create a more cohesive world for their properties. Nolan is helping out some with the Superman reboot.
With the posters and initial trailer, there's quite a bit of speculation that Batman will indeed die rather than have his back broken and someone else will take over. Either way, I think it will be good. We shall see...
Yeah that's what my guess was after just hearing how they had that line of him and Catwoman talking about him giving the city everything he has, and him saying he hasn't given them everything yet. And you know he's talking about his life, as he's the character that will give himself like that for the cause of good.
Also looks interesting as it seems that Bruce gets all fucked up and tossed away somewhere by Bane, leaving Catwoman and Joseph guy to help the city.
I think the downfall of this movie will be Catwoman... I honestly do. I am hoping I am wrong tho.
Same.
Btw in regards to Batman dying or someone else taking over, wouldnt it be a bit stupid to call the film "The Dark Knight Rises" if they are only going to kill/replace him at the end?

Not at all. Maybe if they were going to continue this series forward, but I don't really see DC/Warner staying with this 'world' that Nolan had created. Though if they are planning on keeping it, then yeah I don't see them killing him off.
I still think it's unlikely that they would kill him off anyway, though it would just make for an epic ending. It was all about Batman becoming a symbol for the city, to inspire others to do good and step up. I could logically see the end having Bruce passing down the cowl of Batman. Highly unlikely, but it would be rather epic way to close off this trilogy I think. At least as long as they weren't continuing on with it.

Id like to see this too. It kind of bugs me knowing that once this movie is done- they will give it 4-5 years tops to reboot the franchise and start all over again.
Id really like to not see that happen. Either they go full continuity like Marvel or 1 offs.
Bane just looks.... awful. I guess they're waiting for the big reveal of him in all his grotesquely-steroided glory. But in all this footage, he just looked laughably sinister. And he sounded like he was trying to beat Batman in a gravelly-voice contest.
