I'm done with Skyrim and RPG'd out after Kingdoms of Amalur and ME3. It's a little to late to drag me back into that world. Should have announced/released it 45 or 90 days post release.

I agree. I don't know why the DLC has taken so long for Skyrim. It better be epic. I finish the game ages ago, but I still have plenty of side quests to do for most of the guilds, so I'll definitely be going back.

I'm convinced you can never run out of side quests in Skyrim Put over 200 hours into it myself and still have a bunch of cities and quests to finish.

It took so long because they had to make the entire creation kit/steam workshop stuff. Making a modding kit for a game is incredibly time consuming and difficult. There was also the 5 or 6 bug fix patches that have came out since launch. I'm sure those also took large amounts of time considering that every system had different bugs, testing and certification.
They also said that they were hoping the DLC was going to closer to an "expansion" such as Shivering Isles or Broken Steel compared to the stupid stuff like Horse Armor.

You guys are silly, when they release a DLC shortly after a game comes out people complain they are milking it and it should have been included. When they take a while for DLC to come out, people complain it took too long. Can't please the gamers of today no matter what you do.
Havent gotten around to buying/playing skyrim yet, i understand its a completely open world but do your choices have consequences in the game? e.g. if your a massive dick to a lot of ppl does that stop you from doing a bunch of quests? or is their no real consequences of your actions
I found that after almost every quest arc, the faction I would be working would always tell me something along the times of "Youre awesome and now we've made you our exalted leader yada yada yada dovakin bla bla bla" and then you would NEVER hear from the fuckers again. Imperial, Orc, Nord bleh.. faction doesnt matter, everyone wants you to do a billion things for them, then give you lip service call you their king.. and if you're lucky give you a shitty house.
