It seems that Origin accidentally leaked the existence of Crysis 3.
Quote:
In a surprising turn of events, EA's Origin service briefly leaked some preliminary information about Crysis 3, the sequel to last year's hardware-melting Crysis 2. The info was screencapped by Neogaf forum users before being taken down by EA, and interested parties can still find Crysis 3's store page through Google.
Other than some pricing info and box art, the leak doesn't do much more than hint that we'll be battling once again in an urban setting using the high-tech Nanosuit seen in the previous Crysis games, and some kind of futuristic compound bow may be a prime weapon of choice available to players. However, exactly why exactly a commando wearing a highly advanced set of super body armor would be using archery to battle against alien invaders has yet to be explained.
A: I really enjoyed Crysis but do need to play again
B: I enjoyed Crysis 2 vut had to listen to kids complain about FOV/Console things. Just PLAY it.
C: I don't want Origin. Please... I already have Steam
Sometimes to beat high-tech you have to go low-tech.
You never *have* to go low-tech, but in some cases you have no other alternative. The mujahedin arent using IEDs because its better then a good shaped charge, they do it cus its far easier to get ahold of :P
heh I still have to beat Crysis 2. Held off on beating it until the DX11 stuff hit, then never got back to it. Seems to take them a couple months to get their games straight, don't think I'll be picking this one up at launch.

The Muj do use shape charges, EFPs, etc in their IEDs.
IEDs are just what they have an when you can use $4 of shit to blow up a $1,000,000 vehicle your going to do that. Especially when we actually counter the more "hi-tech" easier.
So I would argue sometimes you do have to go low tech. For example OBL had to go low-tech within his terrorist organization in order to hide from our high-tech counter.
