The official Konami Website has revealed another Metal Gear Solid game, according to job listings this one will be aimed at high-end console systems and the PC. The site has a logo that says "BIGBOSS wants YOU!" and contains a piece of teaser concept art including BigBoss and a dog -- along with multiple job listings.
Hmm i might skip this one as the last one was umm so "full of verbal diarrhea". There is also that the CQC sysrem was way way way complicated. That could just be me tho.
Metal Gear Solid 2 was fantastic in gameplay and awesome in story up until the last 1/3 of the game. If they could somehow re-create that magic I wouldn't m ind paying $50-60 for a PC version.
@ Mazzicc, I've never played a MSG game and don't really plan to either. They look like they could be fun but I just can't get into it.
There's a core element of fun in the sneaking gameplay, but the series is cluttered with unnecessary, frivilous junk. Instead of balancing a dozen or so weapons, they pack your inventory with a million variations, (do I really need a traq pistol and a tranq sniper riffle? How many different cammo outfits until you're bored to tears?), not to mention silly gimmic crap like porn mags and you quickly lose the serious tone they, (sometimes), seem to be going for.
Then you fight a flying psychic with a leather fetish, or a fat guy on rollerskates and a bomb suit, or a vampire, or a dude who makes a gun out of bees to shoot bees at you.
So yeah, if that sounds like your type of game, MGS is the series for you!
I think he just misunderstood (MG vs. MGS). However there are ports (not remakes) of MG1 and MG2 in the HD Collection that he referenced in his second link.
It could be cool to see them newly remade, though. I dig that.

What happened to the MG title that work with kinect and move in which the char is slicing up melons?
That was Metal Gear Solid: Rising. It was being developed internally at Kojima Productions before it was cancelled. Platinum Games picked it up and changed the title to Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.
It looks like it kept that free-slicing mechanic at least as like an ability but otherwise it looks like a run of the mill hack-n-slash. The trailer is pretty ridiculous though, watch it if for no other reason than to laugh at it.
