Hey Zombie fans! The Xbox Live Arcade version of Plants vs Zombies is now available for purchase, costing about $15 (1200 MSP).

I just bought it for the Ipod Touch for 2.99 and it is really a fun little game.

Yeah, not so much for $15 though. I bought it on sale on Steam for $5 (my 1st Steam purchase!!!). Really, even $10 would have been acceptable. I've yet to buy any of the new releases due to the price point. Guess I'll wait to they go on sale.

Yeah, honestly, that's a bit pricey solely based on the fact that the XBLA version is latest to the party.

I got it. It's a good game and it now has co-op and versus. Good enough for me.

Never played this before. If I do it prob will be on the Touch as its the perfect game for it and cheep.

bought for the asking price, couldn't stop playing
worth every penny, can't wait to get home and keep the pool free of zombies... very addictive
much better investements than most books/dvds/games I have bought

I can safely agree with this. co-op is awesome, and versus is addicting and can get really tense at times. It doesn't look like it supports XBL though, which of course is a big fail move.

WHAT - This is local co-op and competitive only

Competitive could be real fun though. I really thought this game worked great on the Ipod Touch, with having to collect the sun by tapping on it. It was fun!

I downloaded this yesterday and haven't been able to stop playing. Once again I find myself going through the same levels and trying new strategies...

The only downside I've found so far is that it doesn't support Live friends play. Sure, I love looking at the houses of my friends... but what's the point if you can't play against one another.

I hope that future DLC will include new zombies (how about a zombie which makes a 3x3 field unusable for a short while?), new lvl (basement? Side of the house? Poolhouse?)new plants of course...

ow.. and freakin' live support!

The game is more or less a tower defense game. Zombies attack your lawn and you need to plant certain plants to fight them off..

While this might not sound exciting... it totally is!
