That was some ham-handed storytelling :\ Visually it looked fine, but the plot didn't make any sense.
Mickey simply breaks the iron shackle holding his arm? I know Mickey is well known for his godlike strength, right? And his perfect aim with a spear to throw a plunger like that, not to mention throwing from a sitting position.
But even beyond those faults, the story as shown lacked any sense of plot foreshadowing. I spotted the little mouse-kid coming, and the lightbulb seemingly about to burst, but neither of those possibilities went anywhere.
And the ink monster is afraid of a brush, huh? I never knew ink could fly too.

Actually, he's Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, not a mouse. Oswald was Disney's first character, but he lost control of it due to some poor business decisions. Mickey was his second creation.
Since this place is supposedly a land for all the misfits of the Disney universe (perhaps analogous to the Animaniacs universe), I'm really excited to see what other weird stuff they resurrect to populate the zones.
