I don't get into sports games that much, but NBA Jam brings back some good arcade memories. The games looks fun. I wonder what kooky character unlocks they will have? I'd like to see Kratos, that would be badass.

How did EA come by the rights for this game? When Midway dissolved, didn't they still own this property?
In any case, looks like it's going to be a great game. Could make for some great same-room 4-player action.
I think since the NBA own most of the rights to NBA Jam (Midway had to pay NBA for the likenesses and team names and etc.) EA made a deal with them to be the inheritors of NBA Jam after Midway's financial ruin.
I'm not all that into sports games (aside from Racing), but there's a special place in my heart for NBA Jam. I really hope a version of this makes it onto PSN, not sure I want to get it for the Wii.
I loved NBA Jam:TE that came out on the Mega Drive, me and my brother had many fights over final second winners ALL THE WAY FROM DOWNTOWN!!! as the commentator man said
If it gets an XBLA release i'll be all over it but I will not be getting it on Wii, bad move EA if its just out on that as no one will buy it

Are you stalking me because that would be super
My friend and I are eagerly awaiting this. It was a funny story, really...
He owned it and used to come over damn near daily with the game. We'd play it for hours but he'd beat my ass without a problem. He always went with the Magic and between Hardaway and Skiles, I rarely stood a chance, until one day...
I can't remember what I did differently, only that I got Pippen on fire and won it with a three near the buzzer. It was a frantic mash of the steal/push button trying to fend him off for those last few seconds to a sweet, sweet victory. He didn't say a word. He dropped the controller, left the room and went home leaving his game there.
Many years on, he's waiting for revenge (especially now that he bought the Wii, his first console since the SNES).
